IB ~ An Overview

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. There are more than 746,000 IB students at 2,717 schools in 138 countries. (www.ibo.org).

With so many people and schools involved, the IB has created a series of useful standards and practices, as well as three very clear vision and practice statements for each of the three age-group educational programmes it offers.
Below you can follow links to all four.

1) IBO Programme standards and practices

These are lengthy and the IBO is working to tighten them up for re-publication in the near future. However, it is upon these Programme standards and practices that our current Riverstone International School teacher assessment is based.

2) IB Primary Years Programme

3) IB MIddle Years Programme
